Event - Shabusen

Although Shabusen was a all-you-can-eat restaurant, the dished were just so-so for me. We ate a lot of the meat, sushi, sashimi, soup...ect. But that was just my opinion, my friend, Masaki, said it's delicious.

Today's Arochi's last day so that's why I created this event. We were all the classmates in Think in English. I knew this restaurant because of Yuya's recommendation. Thanks for his advice, we had a good time in this restaurant. 

We played a game to punish the loser to eat leftovers. We were all very very full. So indeed it's punishment. The last run of this game was the most terrible one.

Bravo Nick. He ate the sushi with a lot of mustard sauce (Sashimi).

Beautiful university in Vancouver. I went to visit the garden and wreck beach there with Taiwanese friends. And ate chinese food after that.
What a fulfilled day!

Attention, don't photo towards people on Wreck Beach. That's very impolite.

Event - Farewell Party

We prepared a lot of snacks, cookies and sodas here, playing balls, Frisbee. I tried to teach them how to play 火鍋拳 but they thought that's difficult. =.=

Sorry I couldn't find BBQ set so it wasn't very fun actually. And I didn't know why I felt unhappy today. Even when we left here and ate in a Korean restaurant together. I still had long face.

Anyway, hope you have good life here and in Japanese. Tomoyo.

Volunteer

Korean Church, Central Presbyterian Church, in the Thurlow St.

2 of my roommates and me, we were happy volunteers cus we helped the church staffs to serve homeless people food for free. There were around 200 homeless came to the church. I think they were all satisfied with today cus the breakfast and the coffee were so nice ! Seriously, compare to the breakfast in my homestay, this is like a food in the dream.

Event - Vancouver Downtown Jazz Festival

2012 Downtown Jazz Weekend.

My friends and me went to eat Korean food first in SULA and then joined the Jazz Festival in Robson Square. I was so lucky to have delicious food and interesting activities in a day.

Day 1

第一天出發陰雨綿綿，果然就發生慘劇，我們的團員Sunny因為無法持學生簽，與本次觀光目的迥異，被機車美國海關檔下，然後，一個人孤零零回家了，沒旅行社協助跟補償，她的朋友跟我後來都跟旅行社大戰好多回，還是無補償跟折扣...。

第一晚必須長途跋涉到波特蘭，中途經過很多休息站，也在波特蘭downtown待90分鐘左右，最後終於抵達飯店。但大伙兒把握時間，先到附近的Macy's Mall買東西，這裡是免稅的！

我只買了一副Oakley太陽眼鏡，要價快$200，怎免稅還是這麼貴!? 另外一個團員買了超多某某牌子的衣服(H開頭的，袋子有美國猛男的那牌)，買到最後一分鐘店家關了，太厲害了。

Day 2

(The Grotto)

(Multnomah Falls)

抵達瘋狂購物中心WoodBurn之前，我們經過莊嚴的The Grotto露天大教堂跟壯觀的Multnomah Falls瀑布，此行唯一的人文景點與大自然景觀。然後剩下就通通是瞎拚了 XD

WoodBurn品牌工廠，太扯了，我們在這裡待5個小時！而且還不夠用！

很多女生買Coach包包，男生則著重運動品牌。我也在這裡亂買一堆，像是Columbia刷毛保暖外套、冷水壺，American Eagle皮包、帽子，GUESS皮帶、T-Shirt，NIKE運動褲、襪子，Clark休閒鞋，花了快$500吧，天殺的，要不是考慮行李箱塞不下，應該會買更多。 XD

FRYS電子商城, 很多電子跟電器用品都很便宜, 這個耳機是幫Home家的R.J.買的, 他說要送給他姐姐, 好像只有$7左右。

因為今天是飯店最後一晚，所以我跟iiiwen、Sharon去飯店內的酒爸喝酒，好喝，也互挖一些八卦，希望大家未來都過的好。

Day 3

非常非常好吃的早餐, 鬆餅, 水果, 柳橙純汁...。

西雅圖Premium Outlet，我們在這裡沒有逛很久，因為前一天在波特蘭大家已經掃得差不多了，所以今天好像就大概1個半小時而已，把一些東西補一補。這裡雖然要8%的稅，但因為很多東西都先打個5折了，所以還是很便宜的啦！

入境回加拿大之前，再買罐Vodka，跟很多巧克力，kkk
運氣很好，海關並沒有一一檢查大家的伴手禮，因為不能超過$800，但一堆人其實都超過了。海關也沒問我什麼，就入境了...

行程結束，回到溫哥華，台灣人一起到Metrotown的阿里山餐廳吃晚餐，很羨慕他們一家人都移居在加拿大，然後每年「回台灣觀光」，享清福。

他們是很nice的家庭，還有我的團員也是很nice，都很開朗的!

Event - Night Market

It's expensive but still had so much fun here. I recommended every friend comes here at least once. But just once is enough...

Today's number of members was the most in all of the events I created. I thought it's more than 20 for sure. We didn't have time to know each other. However that didn't matter cus today's purpose was to enjoy the food with good friends, making new friends was optional.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't so nice.
