Karaoke

We were supposed to meet at 1pm in front of 小酌508. However, unfortunately I don't have phone account so my friends, Johnny, Paul and Eva they were all late and couldn't contact me. I waited for them for 20 mins under very strong sun shines, losing my patience, thus I decided to leave and go see around.

I found the Karaoke store, Mix-2, just located across the street. The staff very kindly showed customers' ID for me to check if anyone I knew but unluckily there was no one. I went out to find a place offered wifi. That's Starbucks, but it's already costed me 25 mins since I left Karaoke store.

I still had no idea where they were cus very shockingly Starbucks didn't offer wifi. I decided to go back to Karaoke store again. I'll go home angrily if they were not there. Eventually, I found them, for God's sake.

I sang a lot of songs from 2pm to 6pm with them and just spent $24 (admission and a drink). Afterwards we started to eat dinner, twice with one more member, 小周. The first restaurant was in 重慶飯店. But it sounded not enough for us so that's why we went to the next one, Sushi Garden. I made everybody too full cus I thought I did order too much. kkk

It's a nice day, Thanksgiving Day for Taiwanese friends.

Turkey Trot

There was a Turkey Trot event held today, Thanksgiving Day. I, very luckily, was a member of volunteers to cheer participants, giving them water. I was acquainted with a Chinese Canadian, Henry, a black guy from states, and a Korean girl, Hichu, studying in PGIC.

The mission today was quiet easy so we finished before 10 am and I took AquaBus to Granville Island with the black guy and Henry, trying to get our t-shirts.

We did it. It's a very cool t-shirt and we also got some other prizes like free aquabus ticket, chocolate, and candies. 

Thanksgiving Day

to celebrate pre-thanksgiving day and my leaving... I had a very delicious lunch organized by Masaki and his friends,  and afterwards had gorgeous multicultural style dinner made by Mency and Minjae, staying at home with my home family. Thanks for making my day. This is the priceless gift to give me from you all.

The party held in Masaki's apartment. Masaki is an awesome chef. He made Sukiyaki, so-called 壽喜燒 in Taiwan, very delicious. Moreover, we had my grapes, Ayano's BBQ chips, Rafael's ice creams and Masaki's sprites. We had a good time but it would be better if they spoke more in English, not in Japanese nor Portuguese. Still very nice to meet old friends and new friend, Kana, from Yokohama.

Before I came home, I drank green tea latte in Starbucks with Masaki and killed a lot of time to keep talking as usual. The time was not enough for us obviously cus I really wanted to go home and had a great time with my home family.

I always like talk and have food and drink with my home family.

Happy Thanksgiving Day. Although I didn't have turkey today but I'll have one tomorrow cus I'll have a volunteering job for Granville Island Turkey Trot. That's turkey.

Nightmare

I dreamed. I saw a girl who is my type coming with her good male friend as usual. I wanted to talk with her more, looking at her face more, seeing her smile again. But I couldn't do that as usual. I said 'hi' and left.

Cus I guess I have been liking this girl for a long time and even tried to tell her my mind once but failed to get good response, I became depressed and disappointed. I had no confidence to do the things all I wanted to do as before.

I left. I felt sad. That's not a good feeling. And then I woke up, praying for GOd for peace.

Cypress Mountain

It's my second to go to Cypress Mountain. I leaded them to this very mysterious place, taking bus, going hiking. And very luckily I found a good place to take a rest and enjoy our lunch. It's just under a bridge. Although we didn't go hiking very far, probably just 2.5 km and then we went back, we talked, laughed and posed funny gestures all the time along this trail. I was really satisfied with this day.

When we arrived at downtown, we ate in Mcdonald's near Burrard Station, kept enjoying every moment.

I took more than 200 priceless photos of us. I definitely will miss all of them in the future vis those pictures.

Thanks for having good weather, good mountain, good roommates, and good life here with you guys. ♥

Good Night

Easy and simple food. But we ate together in the Kitchen, with Mency, Minjae, Minjae's brother, Dan and me. We talked for so long time. It was almost from 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm. We shared foods, drinks, and cookies, playing guitar, talking about John's love story. Sorry that I shouldn't told John's story. I should keep it in a secret. But it's very good chance to practice English. So I did it. All of our roommates were interested in this crazy romantic film-like love story.

But I have a feeling. Tina will come back to Vancouver and continue to fall in love with John, having a happy life in the future. I think she will even though I couldn't understand girls.

Banana Leaf

I ate dinner with my coworkers, Janet from Taiwan, and Brandon from Hong Kong. They all are very kind and nice programmers. I like cowork with them. They didn't work in a hurry. We talked about project and code in the office or on Skype and we also gossiped about the life or trips on occasion.

This restaurant, Banana Leaf, offering Malaysian and Singaporean foods. However the waitresses were all Canadians. It's high-class and expensive restaurant. I just ordered daily specials, King Prawns, and a coconut rice. It costed more $22.12 before tax and tips...

Unfortunately, it's really delicious.
