Boracay Island


I went to Boracay with my friend, Mark. It was an awesome great trip except for some argues and terrible long-distance transportation. Frankly speaking, I had a good time from this trip. Hope he did as well.

The picture shown above is Puka Beach. It's beautiful but we actually couldn't enjoy very much there cus it rained a lot as long as we just arrived. And unfortunately it stopped raining while we were going to leave.

Very clean beach and full of shells. It's definitely worth to come again.


I lived in Seabird International Resort which located in a nice place in S2 zone nearby D'Mall between White Beach and Main Road. This cat belongs to it. One day morning she/he came to our room and seemed very patiently to stay. I had some great interactions with her/him.

Morning, good kid.


I made an mistake. That is, forgot to check-out. Oops, so what could I do at that moment ? Very unluckily, I tried to find a post station in the Kalibo airport and Clark airport but failed to get it. Therefore, I returned my room's key via airmail when I arrived in Taiwan. Hope Jojo Gencianeo who is a nice friendly stuff of resort will receive soon.



I also participated in some activities such as Zorb Zipline and Parasailing. I strongly recommend Zorb although the activity time is quite shorter than Parasailing, around 10 secs and 15 mins respectively. Just try it, Zorb, costs only 380 peso (2 persons' price, 760 total in this case), otherwise you might regret for this trip.



The last, I think I probably will go again in the future to enjoy massage, crazy soft sands, BBQ, and a sunset which I didn't see for this time. Very nice and relax place !

17 Life

Today I saw an system error when I committing a transaction on the website of 17-life. I got a message from my bank told me a successful transaction and a number of 888 payment. I thought I've done to buy this item until an error message came out on my screen of laptop afterwards.

Although I immediately called to the service center and was told that they wouldn't charge me if it did failed in the process, Okay, fine. However, I don't think I can trust this website again after my first failed try to spend money on this website.

Should I give 17-life a second chance ?

General Tips on the Process of Solo Game Development


  1. Idea
  2. Prototype
  3. Iteration
  4. Playtest
  5. Finish

Idea

  • Prototyping is still essential
  • Set a well-defined goal and constraints
  • Give it some time
  • Find the core element that makes the idea shine
  • You will die, so make it count!

Prototype

  • Be open to failure
  • Do it as quickly as possible, and make the code as convenient as possible
  • Use the tools you already know
  • Have a well-defined question to answer

Iteration

  • Make high-quality code
  • Go from most important elements to least important
  • Experiment, but don't lose vision of the core element
  • KISS/life optimize/NO premature optimization
  • Add reusable code to your game library
  • Only add features to your game library that make development faster or add capabilities (do not code something for speed unless you need it)
  • Do not abandon/give up on a project at this point!

Playtesting

  • Playtest early, playtest often
  • Diversify your playtester demographics
  • Swap out overused playtesters
  • Ask questions

Finish

  • Push through it
  • Test, test, test!
  • Make it easy to start playing
  • Add polish

長灘島旅行 行前裝備 Double Check
1自備慣用藥品或外用藥膏(蚊蟲藥膏...)，盡量避免攜帶粉狀散裝藥物，以免被誤認為毒品。
2輕便夏裝、泳裝及水上活動裝備。帶一件外套，以備夜間或冷氣較強的地方穿著。(馬尼拉機場的冷氣可媲美冷凍櫃喔!:p)
3穿著輕便樸實，不戴昂貴首飾，鞋子要防滑好走，新鞋咬腳不適沙灘行走，島上最夯的是人字拖哟！
4準備一份旅遊地點的駐外辦事處通訊資料
5攜帶數張簽證照片備用，將機票、護照、簽證、結匯收據、簽帳卡等證件影印乙份，和正本分開攜帶。
6建議自行攜帶個人慣用之牙膏牙刷及沐浴用品。
7自備一支小手電筒，夜行或臨時停電時備用。
8若您有在海上攝影的需求。建議您準備相機防水設備。(3C產品不建議以原包裝攜帶，以您的相機包或是防震包裝箱或隨身攜帶為宜。)
9白雪公主請帶防曬。巧克力美人請帶助曬及曬後鎮靜用品。
10航空公司飛馬尼拉的國際航線因機型較大，可提供15公斤的check in 行李，但馬尼拉飛菲律賓各島嶼(包括長灘島)多數為小型班機，菲律賓國內航線一般check in 行李限重皆為10公斤。再次提醒您！

非經濟的價值包括使命感、榮譽、品牌、夥伴、溝通、對育兒的好處、和家人相處的時間，以及對社會的貢獻等價值...

I can't agree with that any more. I hate myself sought for the salary and power before. What I really want I realize now is the strong sense of responsibility, honor, to build up my own brand name, partners, communication, education for the next generation, the time getting along with my family, the value I contribute to the society, etc.

I think that's who I am and what I wanna do.
