Yingge

A lot of people play cycling, fly kites, and jogging here, in Yingge. It's a very small town located near the border of New Taipei City and Taoyuan City. There are around 88,000 people live here. But on the weekdays, most of people here go to other city to work so that just few people you can see especially in the day time.

What an amazing city. On the weekends, this small town becomes popular and attracting. Tourists from other cities nearby come here to see potteries, to visit Ceramics Old Street, and get in the Museum for free. A very busy town it can be and a quiet one it usually is. This is Yingge. Welcome to check it out how wonderful it actually is.

I watch movies here.

The feedback is, I think I don't really like this drama after around a year ago I've seen legal high which owned the same main character and similar plot of play.

But it's still a good drama for sure. So many Japanese and Taiwanese are crazy about it. That's why I just check it out. That's it.

I Hate Cockroach

I just move into this house which is around 4-year-old, looks quite new and shouldn't have cockroaches. But after staying here for few days, more and more roaches come out in font of me. I think they bothered me really a lot, made me upset. So again, I bought this chemical material, called boric acid, mixing them with flour and sugar and then waited for a night.

Guess what ? I couldn't get any luck for this time.

Some friends on the FB told me that probably these roaches prefer salty food. Maybe I could mix with beer as well. I followed what they said and tried again. However, these animals didn't seem disappeared for God's sake.

That's it. I need a new way to fix this problem.

Boracay Island

I went to Boracay with my friend, Mark. It was an awesome great trip except for some argues and terrible long-distance transportation. Frankly speaking, I had a good time from this trip. Hope he did as well.

The picture shown above is Puka Beach. It's beautiful but we actually couldn't enjoy very much there cus it rained a lot as long as we just arrived. And unfortunately it stopped raining while we were going to leave.

Very clean beach and full of shells. It's definitely worth to come again.

I lived in Seabird International Resort which located in a nice place in S2 zone nearby D'Mall between White Beach and Main Road. This cat belongs to it. One day morning she/he came to our room and seemed very patiently to stay. I had some great interactions with her/him.

Morning, good kid.

I made an mistake. That is, forgot to check-out. Oops, so what could I do at that moment ? Very unluckily, I tried to find a post station in the Kalibo airport and Clark airport but failed to get it. Therefore, I returned my room's key via airmail when I arrived in Taiwan. Hope Jojo Gencianeo who is a nice friendly stuff of resort will receive soon.

I also participated in some activities such as Zorb Zipline and Parasailing. I strongly recommend Zorb although the activity time is quite shorter than Parasailing, around 10 secs and 15 mins respectively. Just try it, Zorb, costs only 380 peso (2 persons' price, 760 total in this case), otherwise you might regret for this trip.

The last, I think I probably will go again in the future to enjoy massage, crazy soft sands, BBQ, and a sunset which I didn't see for this time. Very nice and relax place !

Today I saw an system error when I committing a transaction on the website of 17-life. I got a message from my bank told me a successful transaction and a number of 888 payment. I thought I've done to buy this item until an error message came out on my screen of laptop afterwards.

Although I immediately called to the service center and was told that they wouldn't charge me if it did failed in the process, Okay, fine. However, I don't think I can trust this website again after my first failed try to spend money on this website.

Thank You ! #905 Bus Driver

Today when I took a bus, I saw the bus driver who looked very painful. He was trying to stretch his right arm and shoulder all the time while he was driving. I could feel that he must have been upset for a long time. Therefore today was kinda his last time to drive before he goes to see a doctor. He struggled to try his best to be a good driver and he did. Even he looked so much painful, he still drove very steadily and never forgot to say thank you to every passenger.

"Thank you." he said to me when I was getting off.

"Thank you." I said in my mind and regretted not to have any name card of a famous private physical therapist in Sulin, New Taipei City, with me so that I could help me. Even just a useless information.

Hope his company will take good care of him soon.

Give & Get

A wonderful thing happened in MOS Burger Store in the morning.

An elder had his stirring rod fallen on the ground, trying to get but got failed. At the same time, I found his trouble so I helped him to get it. It's very easy for everyone including me. However, what a surprise, I also brought this stirring rod to front desk, asking for a new one. I can't believe I could make this thing better.

The elder was very happy when got this new rod from me. After I finished my drink and wanted to leave, he said thanks couple times to me. How a wonderful morning, didn't it ?

Time to work. It's supposed to be a great day.

Basketball

My friend gave me a basketball shoes as a gift. I really appreciated, esp when I got ankle injured last week. Actually my friend asked me to buy a new one asap against any accident in the basketball court. I didn't follow his idea even though I did know it's very important to keep myself safe while playing basketball.

Last week, I went to a school to play basketball as usual. There weren't enough people to play 5-on-5 games so I got lots of chances and time to play. As a result, I thought my condition was getting worse after playing match by match. Unfortunately, in the last match, just exactly before I left the court, I played again but didn't get any good luck. I had my right ankle broken.

That's really damn hurt. I stopped playing and took a taxi to the train station. On my way home, I felt it's getting painful and painful whenever I tried to walk forward step by step.

In the next day, my parents took me to see a doctor in Shulin. I almost cried when the doctor tried to have my ankle on the right position. Afterwards, I brought this very cool stick to walk and work. It made me very special day.

My niece said she wants to become a artist in the future. I hope her dream can come true. She needs a teacher. Actually, she needs a partner more since she seems more patient if somebody plays with her. In other words, a partner can listen to her ideas and wait for her painting result very patiently.

Unfortunately, just few people can do that for her. Everybody sounds like busy.

Education is so important for a kid that we should try hard to give them good environment to play, try, and learn. Then the kids will choice their future on their own.

Jogging

IRunner App is good enough for me. I can hear total distance and pace every 5 minutes. As long as a workout is done, I even can see some details like map, route, time, avg pace, etc.

This workout was happened during Chinese New Year, btw. I promised I won't gain any weight in this vacation. And I did it !

Doraemon

The "100 Years Before the Birth of Doraemon Exhibition" is one of the activities I wanna go during Taiwanese New Year but I was hesitated to go until today. I could imagine it must be crazy crowded. However time passed so fast, the vacation has been having 2 days left.

I went with my niece and elder sister and another 2 friends. We had members of 3 adults and 2 kids so definitely we adults could give kids a wonderful afternoon and memories. Whereas, the exhibition was much crowded than we expected and even worse, the price was damn expensive, $220 for adult and $200 for kid higher than 90cm. We couldn't enjoy snapping photos. My niece lost her patience and yielded to leave. That meant I couldn't take my time to enjoy this show.

We left and went for our stomachs. It's much fun. The food was gorgeous. :P

Power of Love

Han, the most funny father but younger than me, my previous colleague, and good friend, he came to visit me during Taiwanese New Year. I felt so relax to talk with him. Actually I found we always feel free to talk and share about everything to each other. He has his worries and I have mine in regards to job. However, he has his way to deal with it even though he is young.

The key point in my opinion is love. He loves his daughter so much, and his wife, parents, family. So he knows the time to go back home even he is busy, works for his family not for money or something else, and keeps his life simple and less desires.

Hope I can give blessings to you and get simple power from you, my friend.

Hear Me

I've watched more than 10 movies during Taiwanese New Year. The best movie I like probably is "Hear Me".

There is a twin, named 寶妮 and米妮, who are elder and younger sisters respectively. The main actor love 米妮 very much so he tried hard to learn hand language to communicate with them. Btw, just 寶妮 can't hear but 米妮 can do without problems. The interesting point is three of those performers thought everyone was under the same situation, they all have problem to hear and talk.

Before the girl accept actor's pursuit, she wondered how she could take care of another hearing-impaired person. She started to avoid him as much as possible until her sister encouraged her and boy's never stop chasing.

They fell in love in the end.

The first time I heard this news I felt so excited cus finally there is a tycoon in Taiwan tries to give contribution not for his business, but for human, society, technology, culture instead. This is an international prize to give very high bonus to someone who is delicated in researching or developing and gets very important result to change human's life or society.

It'll be opening in 2014. I hope Taiwanese companies, educational institutions, or governmental organizations, and even personal studio can give very high respect to this prize held in Taiwan and save the rewords here to tell the world how creative and intelligent in Taiwan.

Red Bean Soup

I learned how to make a delicious red bean soup from TV news. The receipt is as following

Clean red beans twice or more ,
Boiled water and then put salt (to make the sweet different, it's better, anyway.)
Put beans in (Do not turn the fire low)
Add cold water as long as the level of liquid is almost half left. Repetitively to add water at least 3 times. (Boiled -> add water -> boiled -> add water ..... )
You will see the bean's size is 1.5 or 2 times large than before.
Btw, add the sugar which is called 台糖特級砂糖。

Got it ? You won't unless do it by yourself.

Funny Name

I got an email. In the beginning, I didn't realize it's for me. 小狗? Who is he? It sounds like a poster or a web user sent this ad to me and I thought his name is 小狗 with no doubt. But suddenly, I found that this email's title, I meant the first line is "Dear 小狗,.. " so I got it. It's me !

I laughed for a while cus I can't believe myself named this name to register in this website. This name was quite cute. Wasn't it ?

Weekend

Friday evening, guys went home earlier than usual after work. Since I start to work, sometime I was the last one to leave to office. To be surprised, I got the last to leave gym as well today. I felt my muscle a little bit sore because not only work out often but played basketball last night. I played 5 5-on-5 games with my colleagues. Yesterday night was absolutely a nice night. I got the last shot for the last game and it's the only scores I got. This feeling was amazing, just like I did a buzzer beater.

Return to the point, I think it's time to leave here to enjoy my weekend.

MOS Burger

My favorite fast food restaurant in my country. I come here quite open while this is my first time to come again since I was back to Taiwan from Canada. Well, it's true that the price isn't so friendly. However I could enjoy every time. It's relative healthy food, large space, great atmosphere, and quite environment with light music. They all touch me deeply.

Btw, there is a senior colleague in my company. Her name is 寶珠, the woman who is always smiling, talkative, helping people and encouraging people. I think the unlimited power comes from LOVE. She loves her family so much, hug all the time, and speak out "I love you" to kids and parents. It's not normal in our culture but she does change the way to show loves in her family. She is a great mother and teacher.

Princess and Little Princess

I had a reunion with my friends of club of university at a restaurant, NiNi Garden, in Taoyuan. I acquainted with a 5-grade elementary school girl and a 7-month-year-old kid. This was my first time to see them. A good feeling was I felt they were very friendly to a stranger, me. I didn't think I'm good at talking to kids or playing with them. However, they had me very comfortable to get along with them. Not only we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant, but we continued to go to the youngest kid's parents' house and had a lot of fun there.

It's a wonderful reunion in beginning of this year. I hope we guys will keep contacting with each other and prepare to have next one in the next time.

But I ate too much food. My stomach was kind of having been dead.

I saw lots of unbelievable pictures of China from a TV program. There are cows searching food on a land as a pastureland full of trash. Can you imagine that ? How dare the cowmen have their cows walk and eat food over there. How about the cows' drink ? So disguising.

Even worse, China people also suffer from haze pollution recently. This kind of air pollution could be very fetal to people's health. In estimate, one third of land size of China has been affected.

Obviously, it's not worth to skip any extended problem but focus on economic growth only. Unluckily, don't forget that we are down wind from China !

I got an email from elder brother, John. I was so happy at that moment. He made my day again. Thank you, brother.

 Hi kevin,  
  How is your Holiday and New Year. I hope you are well.and I miss you my little brother.  
 Just like to say:

 Great start for January, Hop for February,  
 Peace for march, No worries for April

I really like the way he told me in this letter. It's very active and full of blessings. So I stopped working for a while and replied immediately :

 John John John,   
 I am fine, peaceful, and warm here. Everything is on the way.   
 I workout after work and play basketball once a week. Know what ?   
 Sometimes I wonder how well you can play ping-pong. When you'll show me ?   
 Thanks for your blessings, I am well and still trying go keep in touch with some friends   
 those who I got acquainted in Canada.   
 It's kinda hard, however. It's been long time since I left.   
 Your voice and face are still clear in my mind cus I stayed with you for a long time,   
 but you know, it's getting fuzzy as time goes by.   
 And so are Cucu's, Sumire's and...so many people.   
 Is this life supposed to go in this way ?   
 I also wanna give blessings to you.   
 And it's quite simple that hope health and happiness are always with you.

Happy New Year

The amazing gathering with buddies. We knew each other since studied in high school in 2005. This time, we came here, near a port in Miaoli (苗栗外埔漁港) to celebrate new year, 2013.

We bought a lot of foods for hot pot. We felt warm and comfortable when enjoying these homemade meals. Afterwards, we drank beers and wines and sang karaoke until 2 am.

We also took a walk near the fishing port and had some crazy funny things there.These were all unforgettable feelings.

Happy new year for my buddies, friends, and family.
