(Iranian dessert)
This is Iranian dessert, full of sugar, but it's not something like the Timtibs in Tim Horton's. It's malt sugar, healthier one.
(Timbits, too sweet)
I ate dessert in John's studio. Today I felt very bored cus I have finished the program for the NPO company and they haven't assigned me what to do. Therefore, I went to help John earlier.
While I arrived, I had a short greeting with John and started to mill 2 buckets of very thick clay and strained them to another bucket by drill. However I made mistakes again, I made 1 bucket of clay too thin, and too thick for the other one...
Anyway, when I was done, I had a chance to drink tea and talk with Iranians, John, Alex, and Tina. For them, Sumi and me were foreigners, so they taught us how to say 'YES' in Persian. The sound was like "A-lei', and 'Na' meant 'NO'. Make your head go up actually meant 'NO'. On the contrary, go down meant 'YES'.
The most interesting thing was if you raise your thumb, it means 'FUCK', though it's so positive meaning for my country and Japan.
Persian | English |
---|---|
Ha-na | Hope (Flower, light) |
John | Dear (friend) |
A-lei | Yes |
